A sister company of Denegri & Associates, Payroll Boutique was born out of our understanding of the evolving needs of our clients and our strong commitment to providing exceptional services.

Since its founding in 1986, Denegri & Associates has been regarded for its expertise in personalized bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services in Sonoma County. Their dedication to outstanding service and approachability has earned them a stellar reputation for consistently going above and beyond for their clients. They’re not merely accountants; they serve as trusted advisors and friends.

With the establishment of Payroll Boutique, we embraced the opportunity to bring our vision to life. Just as Denegri & Associates never settled for a one-size-fits-all approach, we channeled that same commitment to customization and "boutique" service into the creation of Payroll Boutique. The idea had been carefully nurtured for years, and in 2022, it became a reality.

Meet the Team

Gina Hamilton

Hi! My name is Gina, and I’m the founder of Payroll Boutique. I was born in an accounting office. Okay, not exactly “in” the office, but nearly! As a tax season baby with CPA and Accountant parents, my family was back to work quickly after I was born rocking me in the bassinet with one hand and calculating like mad with the other. To this day, the sound of typing soothes me.

Growing up at Denegri & Associates, I was always around numbers, calculations, and formulas, and it became ingrained in me. As a young adult, I was hired to help with administrative tasks, but not long after, I was asked to start working on the payroll accounts. Not only did I take to it right away, but I felt so fulfilled doing a job that I knew was such a vast and fundamental part of a person’s life—getting paid.

I’m not just a numbers person but a people helper. I’ve had the incredible opportunity of watching my parents’ unique approach to their profession my entire life. They aren’t just accountants to their clients; they’ve been their comforters, cheerleaders, and genuine friends. Being an accountant isn’t just about calculations; it’s about embracing the human side of things and developing personal connections. It’s something that often gets overlooked, but it’s something they prioritize.

I’m passionate about making a positive impact in everything I do. Integrity is paramount to me, and I always do my utmost to act in the best interests of my clients and their employees. At the end of the day, payroll is about people, which is why I call it the “people piece” of your business. I’m here to help guide you through it and make it less stressful.

I was born and raised in Sonoma County and am a huge music lover and concert poster collector; my love for jam bands knows no bounds. I've seen Dave Matthews Band live over 40 times. I also love ALO and the Grateful Dead—but I adore a wide range of music, from opera to metal and anything in between.

When I'm not working or hyper-fixating on a new creative outlet, I'm probably hanging out with my husband and our four furry felines, watching our favorite shows, or planning our next road trip. We have a goal to visit every national park in the country, and we love geeking out over incredible geology.

Jana Denegri

Hi, I’m Jana Denegri, and I’m the co-founder of Payroll Boutique. When I began my accounting career, I was one of the few women in a male-dominated profession. However, I was determined to make a difference and pave the way for more women to enter the field. Over the years, I've witnessed the amazing strides women have made in accounting, and I’m proud to have played a role in this change!

I received my CPA license in 2002, and I've been running my family CPA office, Denegri & Associates, since 1986. Along with being a CPA, I'm an EA (Enrolled Agent), which means I'm not just your average tax preparer—I can represent you before the IRS. Additionally, I'm a Certified Tax Coach specializing in proactive tax planning to help you make the most of your financial situation.

I've spent my entire career processing payroll and handling payroll-related issues. As a full-charge bookkeeper and accounting professional, I genuinely enjoy helping my clients organize their financial lives. It's all about making your life a little easier and less stressful!

My goal as an accountant is not only to help you achieve your financial objectives but to build a lasting relationship based on trust and integrity. I pride myself on being a friendly, approachable accountant who’s always available to answer your questions and help you navigate the world of finance.

When I'm not crunching numbers, you'll find me exploring the beauty of nature and hanging out with my furry sidekick, Pastina (Little Pasta). I adore hiking and capturing breathtaking moments with my camera; in fact, my photography skills have even earned me a few awards along the way. I’m also an avid traveler. Italy, in particular, holds a special place in my heart—I can't wait to go back and visit the village my family hails from.
